This policy explains how Resonance collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit serpentineresonance.com, contact us, join our list or book a session.

Who we are

Resonance is a sound healing and Kundalini meditation practice based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, operated by Serpentine Yoga LLC at Shams Business Center, Sharjah Media City Free Zone, UAE. For anything about your personal information, email sol@serpentineresonance.com.

What we collect

  • When you contact us or enquire about a session: your name, email address, and the details you share, such as the date, location, group size and your message.

  • Health information you choose to share: for example, pregnancy or a medical condition, so we can adapt your session safely. We only use it for that purpose.

  • When you join our list: your first name and email address.

  • When you browse the site: basic technical information such as your device, browser, pages visited and approximate location, collected through cookies and analytics.

How we use it

  • To reply to your inquiry and arrange, deliver and follow up on your session.

  • To adapt sessions to any health considerations you share.

  • To send our newsletter and free resources, if you have signed up.

  • To understand how the site is used and improve it.

  • To meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations.

We use your information because you have asked us to (for example by sending an inquiry), because you have given consent (for example to our newsletter or to sharing health details), or because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving our business.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted services that help us run Resonance, and only as much as they need:

  • Squarespace, which hosts our website, forms and analytics.

  • Klavyio, which sends our emails.

  • Stripe, if you pay for a session.

  • Professional advisers or authorities, where the law requires it.

Some of these services store data outside the UAE. Where that happens, we rely on their security and data protection commitments.

Cookies

Our site uses cookies to work properly and to understand how visitors use it. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through the cookie banner, and change your choice at any time in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking details for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal requirements, usually no longer than five years. Health information is kept only as long as it is needed for your sessions. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

These rights apply under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, the GDPR if you are in the EU or UK, and US state privacy laws such as California's, and we honour them for everyone. We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

  • delete it, where we are not required to keep it;

  • withdraw your consent at any time, including unsubscribing from our emails with one click;

  • object to or restrict how we use it.

Children

Our website and newsletter are intended for adults. Sessions for anyone under 18 are arranged with a parent or guardian.
